Organised the session on Restoration Ecology during 2009 annual meeting of the Netherlands Ecological Research Network (NERN).

Supervised 14 students during their graduate research (in total 87 months).

Field course in South Africa on marine biology and coastal ecology (2010) and in Switzerland on Alpine ecology (in 2005 and 2007).

Teaching assistant on various courses including Genetics (1998) and Zoology (1999).
